3-Tine Hydraulic Rock Grabs

Our flagship of grab units, this model is fully self-contained with two onboard hydraulic rams to provide the clamping force. The unit can be picked up using your quick-hitch just like any other attachment and, unlike most other grab units on the market, this model can be used with a tilting hitch - so any movements you can do with your own hand can be done with the size and power of your excavator!

3-Tine Static Rock Grabs

The most secure way to hold or lift any object is by clamping it in three places. A more advanced design than 2-tine grabs, this unit can be picked up using your quick-hitch, and it provides the three clamping points in one robust unit. A strut connected to the underside of the dipper arm is used to adjust the position of the lower grab jaws.

2-Tine Hydraulic Rock Grabs

This model consists of a pair of grab tines (or jaws) that are pivoted directly from the end of the dipper arm and comes with a heavy-duty hydraulic ram to enable exact positioning of the two lower tines. The grab unit is used in conjunction with your ripper or a narrow bucket to act as the third clamping point and folds up under the dipper arm when not in use - so it never has to be removed from the machine. Available in a range of sizes to suit any excavator.

2-Tine Static Rock Grabs

Our base model rock grab, this unit offers affordable grab performance with a minimum of fuss. Similar in design to the hydraulic model above, except this grab comes with a mechanical strut and 3-position anchor-plate to enable positioning of the two lower tines. This model also folds up under the dipper arm when not in use - so it too never has to be removed from the machine.

3 and 4 tyne Hydraulic Grabs

A versatile hydraulic grab - no need for a stiff arm, can be used in conjunction with a tilt hitch. High tensile tynes. Single hydraulic cylinder mounted on top of grab to prevent damage to cylinder.

3 Tyne Mechanical Grab

3 tyne – Easy to install, fits straight onto your machine or quickhitch with a stiff arm connecting to a bracket welded to rear of Dipper Arm with one pin.

Manufactured from high tensile wear grade material.

5 Tyne Mechanical Grab

5 tyne - Easy to install, fits straight onto your machine or quickhitch with a stiff arm connecting to a bracket welded to rear of Dipper Arm with one pin. Manufactured from high tensile wear grade material.

Used for building of rock walls, landscaping, picking up logs, sleepers etc, demolition work, recycling and land clearing. Has a greasable main pivot.

Ramtec Hydraulic Grabs

Big opening and width of shells with sturdy design of jaws. Separated rotation, bulkhead union and slew bearing. Hose burst valve and end brakes integrated to the cylinder. Replaceable bearings, wear-resistant blades and wear plates in the frame. Easy maintenance. Also available without rotation.

Ideal for demolition, scrap, recycling, forestry etc.
